Hi, I'm Izelle Facer from PJ Graphics (Plaasjapie Graphics) . I'm based in Augrabies, Northern Cape, and I'm the person responsible for how your personal information is handled. What Information I Collect and Why (The Herd's Data)

I only collect the essentials, like a horse needs just the right tack. I don't share your details with anyone, and I only use them to communicate with you or to provide my services.

  • From Your Contact Form: When you send me a message via the contact form on my website, I collect your name, email address, and phone number. I ask for this information for one reason only: so I can gallop back to you with a reply, answer your questions, or send you a quote for your new website. 

  • From Calendly: If you book a call with me through Calendly, they will share your name and email address with me so I can confirm our "trail ride" (or strategy call) and send you a reminder.

How Long I Keep Your Information (The Stable's Limit)

I don't keep your information forever, just as a stable is only a temporary home. I'll hold onto your personal information only for as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which you gave it to me. For example, if you enquire about a website but don't become a client, I will delete your details after a reasonable period. If you become a client, I'll keep your information for as long as necessary to maintain your site and for legal record-keeping.

Who I Share Your Information With (The Inner Circle)

I don't sell or share your personal details with any third parties for marketing purposes. My "herd" is small and trusted.

  • Calendly: I use Calendly to manage bookings. When you book a call, your information is processed by them to send you confirmations and reminders. You can read Calendly's privacy policy for more details on how they handle data, but rest assured, they are POPIA and GDPR compliant

How I Protect Your Information (A Strong Stable)

Your data's safety is as important to me as a secure, well-maintained stable. I use reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep it safe, including:

  • Secure Website (SSL): This website uses an SSL certificate, which means all information sent between your browser and my site is encrypted (think of it as a locked gate).

  • Secure Systems: My own devices and email accounts are protected with strong passwords and security software.

Your Rights (Horse Sense)

POPIA gives you a few important rights, and it's important that you know them. You have the right to:

  • Ask: You can ask me what personal information I hold about you.

  • Correct: You can ask me to update or correct any information that's wrong.

  • Delete: You can ask me to delete your personal information.

  • Object: You can object to how I'm using your information.

Complaints (If You're Not Happy)

If you feel I haven't handled your information properly, I'd appreciate it if you would contact me directly first to let me know. However, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
